Women's XC team puts up strong performance at ERU Invitational
The University of The Bahamas Cross Country teams turned in decent results over the weekend at the Embry Riddle University Invitational.
Michal Bullard led the women's team over the 5-kilometer course in 22 minutes 42.2 seconds to finish 44th overall in a field of 119.
Marquell Newbold finished in 26 minutes 35.3 seconds for the 87th spot.
Nancy Joseph took 29 minutes 21.6 seconds while Kaia Cambridge completed the course in 31 minutes 6.2 seconds.
Katrenel Dean finished in 34 minutes 19.0 seconds.
The team finished 12th with 345 points.
Bullard said she had a plan for the race. "I wanted to get out strong and stay strong during the race," she said.
The Mingoes next compete in the UB Cross Country Invitational set for September 28, 2024.
