UB Mingoes Volleyball defteated Lady Warhawks in 3-2 in sets on Friday at the D.W. Davis Gymnasium.
UB won 25 -15; 15-25; 15-25; 25-14; and 15-11.
Falling short within the second and third set but a thrilling comeback during the fourth set giving them the advantage in the fifth set of the game.
Anjeniker Joseph said we played a good game tonight.
"This was very important." Joseph said "We couldn't let the team out serve us as they are a more experienced team than us, we played defence and we kept the momentum going."
Ub returns to the court at 3:30 against Aces on Sunday March 8 at D.W. Davis Gymnasium.
