In a jaw-clenching game on Monday UB Women's Volleyball defeats Ballers 3-1 in New Providence's Volleyball Association action at D.W. Davis Gym.
Even though falling short in their third set they took the victory in a closely contested fourth set.
UB won 25 -17; 25-15; 23-25; and 25-23.
Anjeniker Joseph said the team performed great.
"We kept the momentum going and did what we were supposed to do," Joseph said. "We played defense, we passed, we served and we kept the fundamentals of volleyball going even with the new players."
UB is on a three game win streak and sports an 8-5 win/loss record.
They return to action against Aces at 5pm on Sunday, March 1 at D.W. Davis Gym.
