Nahum Johnson scored twice for the University of The Bahamas men's soccer team as they shut out Baha Jr. 6-0 in the Bahamas Men's Soccer League on Sunday at the Roscow A.L. Davies Soccer Fields.
Baha abandoned the match because they were unable to field enough players to continue to match after the 44th minute. The clean sheet win has UB sporting an 8-0-3 win/loss/draw record on the season.
Apart from finding the back of the net twice, Sidney Decius, Ronaldo Green, Mider Dalmasse and Philip Pilgrim scored a goal apiece.
"We are just trying to get back on our feet," Johnson said. "We are coming off couple draws so we try to run up the score to extend our lead in the league. I am trying to find my rhythm again so it is good to be back on the scoresheet."
Pilgrim said; "It is another three points for us. It is good for us to score again bacck on the scoresheet. We needed the three points to get back on top the table and we go again next game."
That next game is a matchup against Cavalier FC at 7.30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 4 at the Rowscow Davies Soccer Fields.
